The Chantal Beanie is worked from the bottom up in the round. It begins with a double-folded brim in 1x1 rib, followed by the main section worked in a slip stitch pattern. The crown is shaped with decreases and can be finished in one of two ways: a twisted crown with six wedges or a classic crown with four wedges, depending on your preference.

The Chantal Beanie is designed with approx. 10 cm 4 in of negative ease. This means the finished hat will be about 10 cm 4 in smaller than your actual head circumference.
